Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange

I’m a big fan of Stanley Kubrick. A week ago I finally could “spare” about 3 hours, with bathroom breaks, to watch “Eyes Wide Shut” which I think is a fantastic movie. And last night I was searching on Vudu for a movie and when I saw “A Clockwork Orange” I immediately jumped off my couch, dashed to my movie collection and grabbed in one move my 2001 DVD copy of this incredible movie and watched the whole thing: hello late Friday start.

In my opinion, most movies out there are a huge pile of worthless junk. They are just remakes of remakes of remakes. The ideas are simply not there: no wonder why so many people still consider this movie a master piece.

Check out this sweet video of “Alex” talking about stuff related to his role, Stanley, and the movie celebrating its 40th birthday.

Haven’t seen it? I recommend you get the movie in Blu-ray from Amazon. I will!
